A Letter From Our Executive Director As we look ahead to spring across Idaho, I’d like to share some exciting news for our Trees Idaho Team and invite you to join and partner with us as we have a busy season ahead. Over the course of the past few years, the Board of Directors and I have been developing plans for growth and support of our staff team, who are at the forefront of the future success of Trees Idaho. In early 2025 we began to budget and plan for two full-time staff to lead and manage the organization by 2027. By the end of 2025, it was clear to us all that the Executive Director for our future was our dedicated Program Director, Emma Stammer. I am thrilled to have Emma, a proven community builder and non-profit leader, stepping into this role. As she takes over the reins as Executive Director in April 2026, my role will transition to serving as an Executive Advisor for the remainder of the year. In my new role, I will continue to support Emma as we work together to sustain and grow our programs and continue to expand our strategic partnerships across the state. We will also begin recruitment for a new Program Director to join the team early fall of this year. I look forward to continuing to support Trees Idaho in the years ahead as an advisor, partner, volunteer and friend.
