Trees Idaho has teamed up with Woodland Empire Ale Craft and Vantage Point Brewing Co. to celebrate Idaho’s urban forests and the role trees play in making our communities better places to live. Each beer in this collaboration has a story to tell, and every pint is an opportunity to raise a glass to the trees that make our communities special.

Proceeds from every pint and can of these brews support Trees Idaho’s mission to grow and protect our urban forest.

Big Catalpa was the inaugural Boise Tree Captains Series Release, for Summer - Fall 2024. This is the full bloom expression of Woodland Empire’s City of Trees IPA. Just as the sturdy branches of the majestic Catalpa support copious budding flowers, a bigger ABV supports abundant dry-hop additions of choice Idaho and Northwest hops.

The Big Catalpa collaboration raised $1,000 and helped plant catalpa trees across the Treasure Valley, growing a greener and healthier community!
